Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sniper One (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sniper One had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sniper One! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Peter Parker! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Michael Johnstone and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! One throws a body punch but Parker moves out of range. One sizes up Parker with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. One misses with a body shot.
Parker is looking to clinch but One is avoiding it.
One gets caught napping as Parker dives in and scores a takedown. One manages to retain guard. Parker makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Parker sitting in guard here, content to control. Parker is looking to work some ground and pound but One has wrist control. Parker postures up.
Parker slips nicely into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Parker looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. One avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Parker.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parker content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Parker connects with a nice short shot to One's temple. One on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if One tries to get out of the position. Parker throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Parker missing with the ground and pound from half guard. One tries to roll over but Parker keeps him under control. One looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. One on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. One wants to get back to full guard. Parker trying to mount his opponent but One defends it.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. One lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. One throws a body punch but Parker moves out of range. Parker tries to close the distance and clinch up but One swats him away and circles back towards the center. Parker has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by One. Parker takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Peter Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. One connects with a right hand. Parker shakes it off. A head kick misses from One. One rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Parker moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Nice takedown defense from One. No joy for Parker on that attempt. Parker uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by One.
Parker tries to clinch but One is having none of it. Parker tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. One manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Parker is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Parker uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by One.
That's three minutes gone in the round. One looks to score with a jab to the body but Parker is just out of range. One tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Parker was well out of range. Poor timing from One. One goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. One fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Parker manages to avoid it. Parker gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. One breaks from the clinch.
Parker tries to clinch up but One circles away and keeps his distance. One pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A looping hook to the body misses from One. Parker does a little dance to reset his feet. Parker keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
One dips down and scores with a jab to the body. We've been informed that Parker has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Parker misses with a takedown attempt - One sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Parker fails in his attempt to clinch. Parker drives through with a takedown into guard. Parker controlling from the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. It looks like Parker might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. One is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Parker is controlling him. Parker throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. One trying to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Parker postures up and lands a big shot to One's brow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sniper One dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
One keeps the fight on the outside. Parker looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? One is fending him off so far but Parker persists. Nope, One circles away and we're back to standing. One circles away from the clinch attempt.
One is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Parker can do to turn this around? Parker moves out of range as One throws a body kick.

Parker misses with a hook. One ducked under it nicely. One bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Parker's head. One with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. He's simply no match for Parker on the ground. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Parker is chipping away with strikes.

Parker showing good wrestling skills to control the position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Parker lands a decent elbow from side control. Parker is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt One will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Parker in side control lands a decent elbow.

One avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Parker. Parker works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Parker scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh One is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Parker can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
