With a record of 15 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Riley Marshall!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, John Roberts and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Marshall lands a jab-cross combination.

Marshall jabs Garcia right on the nose. Garcia blinks but takes it well.

Marshall closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Marshall working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Marshall is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Garcia is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Garcia is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Marshall pulls his head out easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Garcia wants to get back to full guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Marshall slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
