Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Slip Cahn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Zane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cahn comes to the cage accompanied by Eye Of the Lion. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Zane, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Zane throws a nice outside leg kick.
A big right from Cahn misses.
Cahn blocks a head kick by Zane.
Cahn slips a jab and a cross from Zane.
Zane throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cahn stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Cahn looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Zane tries to kick Cahn off but Cahn keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Cahn seems to be working for a kimura but Zane defends the submission attempt.

Cahn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Cahn lands a nice short elbow.
Cahn is nestled in close to Zane, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
