Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Slip Cahn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Zane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cahn comes to the cage accompanied by Eye Of the Lion. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Slip Cahn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mike Zane! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Zane, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Zane throws a nice outside leg kick. A big right from Cahn misses. Cahn blocks a head kick by Zane.
Cahn slips a jab and a cross from Zane.
Zane throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cahn stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Zane misses with a body kick. Cahn misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Zane.
Cahn blocks a head kick by Zane.
Cahn looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Cahn stalling. Cahn thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Zane tries to kick Cahn off but Cahn keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Cahn seems to be working for a kimura but Zane defends the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cahn missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Zane blocking the ground and pound attempt from Cahn. Cahn prevents Zane from standing back up.
Cahn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Cahn lands a nice short elbow. Cahn is nestled in close to Zane, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Cahn works his way into full mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cahn content just to control the position here. Cahn working away from the top, dropping strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cahn in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Zane is rocked! Cahn working the ground and pound effectively.
Zane is still in real trouble! Can Cahn finish him? Cahn looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Zane covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
