Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Connall Chulainn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mateusz Wiaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Connall Chulainn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mateusz Wiaz! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chulainn moves into the clinch. Chulainn has hold of one of Wiaz's legs. Wiaz is fighting the takedown attempt but Chulainn gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Chulainn postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Wiaz wants to sweep but no luck. Chulainn sitting in guard, not really doing much. Chulainn postures up in Wiaz's guard and throws a big left but Wiaz blocks it. Chulainn throws an elbow that misses. Wiaz uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Chulainn's guard. Nice move by Wiaz! Wiaz is looking to work some ground and pound but Chulainn has wrist control. Chulainn on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Chulainn tries to get out of the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wiaz throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Chulainn seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Wiaz missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Chulainn is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wiaz is controlling him. Chulainn keeping moving, preventing Wiaz from controlling successfully. Wiaz working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Chulainn's head. Chulainn wants to stand up but Wiaz is controlling him.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Connall Chulainn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chulainn closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chulainn wants to take a breather but Wiaz manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Chulainn. Wiaz looking for a sweep. Not yet Wiaz, not yet. Chulainn lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Chulainn won't allow Wiaz to sweep him here. Chulainn wants to control from the top but Wiaz keeps moving. Wiaz utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Wiaz has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Wiaz keeping moving, preventing Chulainn from controlling successfully. Chulainn slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Chulainn scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Chulainn pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Wiaz tumbling to the mat - Chulainn dives into Wiaz's guard. Chulainn chips away with some ground and pound. Chulainn closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Wiaz did well to prevent Chulainn getting side control. Chulainn lands strikes from half guard. Chulainn landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Chulainn winds up and cracks Wiaz with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Wiaz is rocked! Chulainn scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Wiaz is still in real trouble! Can Chulainn finish him? Chulainn lands a big elbow - Wiaz is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Chulainn!
