Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jiu Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Macho Randy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jiu Jitsu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jiu Jitsu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Macho Randy!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jitsu fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Randy, pushing him back against the cage.
Randy prevents a takedown attempt there.
Randy keeps control of Jitsu as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Still in the clinch, Randy scores with a nice short uppercut.
Randy lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Jitsu breaks the clinch.
Jitsu shoots in and drives through. Randy sprawls well.
Randy moves in looking to clinch but Jitsu pushes him off.
Jitsu shoots for a takedown but Randy saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jiu Jitsu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Randy fails to land with a series of punches.
Jitsu looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jitsu dives in for a single leg takedown but Randy sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Randy tries to throw a body punch but Jitsu avoids it by throwing Randy back against the cage.
Jitsu goes for a takedown attempt but Randy pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Randy has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Jitsu is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Randy fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Jitsu clinches up with Randy and pushes him back against the cage.
Jitsu changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Randy fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Randy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Jitsu drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Jitsu throwing strikes but Randy manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jitsu is looking to regain half guard here but Randy keeps moving and retains side control.
Jitsu wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Jitsu tries to bench press Randy off him but Randy keeps the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jitsu sneaks back into half guard.

Jitsu looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Jitsu is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Randy pulls his head out easily.
Jitsu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jitsu wants to get back to full guard.
Jitsu might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Jitsu has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Randy escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Randy!
Jitsu tries to get back to half guard but can't.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jitsu is working hard here to advance position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Jitsu shoots in looking for a takedown but Randy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jitsu's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Jitsu fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Macho Randy dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Randy tries to keep at a distance but Jitsu has taken the fight into the clinch.

Jitsu wants the takedown. Randy is fighting it off but Jitsu persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Randy's guard against the cage.

Jitsu postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Randy is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jitsu, into his guard.


Jitsu is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jitsu working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Randy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Jitsu is tightening it up a little... Randy has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Randy reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Randy taps out! Nice BJJ there by Jitsu!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Jiu Jitsu!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Jiu Jitsu waved his t-shirt featuring KAISER's logo in front of the cameras.
