Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lock Down (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sigurmann Oddson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Oddson's choice of entrance music: Judas Priest- Hellrider. Sigurmann Oddson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lock Down! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sigurmann Oddson! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Peter Branson and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oddson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Down avoids it really well and circles away. Down ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Oddson moves away. Down misses with a right hand and Oddson counters with a single leg into guard. Down didn't expect that. Oddson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Oddson lands a couple of digs. Oddson sitting in guard, not really doing much. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. It looks like Oddson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Oddson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Oddson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oddson working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Down's head. Down preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Down might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Oddson postures up and lands a big shot to Down's brow.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Oddson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Oddson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Down dodges the ground and pound from Oddson. Oddson in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Oddson postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oddson is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Oddson working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Oddson controls the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Oddson misses with a body shot.
Down throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Down looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Down misses the shot to the body. Down is looking to land body kicks. Oddson walks forward, straight into a front kick from Down. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sigurmann Oddson dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Down blocks a jab. Down avoids the body shot from Oddson.
Down lands a slapping body shot.
Oddson misses with a straight left. Down throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Down lands a jab to Oddson's midsection. Down works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
It looks like Sigurmann Oddson has been cut. A kick lands to the mid section there for Down. Down with a body punch. A glancing blow. Down dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Down throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Down's jab looks to have found its range, popping Oddson under the eye. Oddson is breathing heavily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A looping hook to the body misses from Down. Oddson does a little dance to reset his feet. Down connects with a body shot that sends Oddson's belly button to the back. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Oddson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Down - the referee stops the clock and Oddson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Down. Oddson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Down misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Oddson.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oddson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Down scores with a spinning back kick! Down with a body punch. A glancing blow. Lock Down is winning the standup battle so far. Oddson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Down cracks a nice hook into Oddson's ribs. Oddson takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Down comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Down digs a good body shot into Oddson's ribs. Down getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Down scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Nice uppercut there from Down. Down misses with a wild body shot. Down ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Oddson moves away. Lock Down is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Down misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Oddson.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Down lands a jab to Oddson's midsection. Oddson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Down.
Down lands a big head kick that sends Oddson tumbling to the mat! Down takes a step backwards and waves Oddson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Oddson is rocked! Down looks to score with a jab to the body but Oddson is just out of range. Oddson is still on wobbly legs! Can Down finish him? Down swings for the body but Oddson moves out of range.
Down connects with a combination that backs up Oddson into the cage. Down lands a flurry of punches that gets past Oddson's guard. Oddson is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Down bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lock Down!
