Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Leandro Rodrigues and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spencer fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gracie, pushing him back against the ropes.
Gracie is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the ropes enables Spencer to keep the fight standing.
Spencer jumps guard and drags Gracie to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Gracie controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Gracie throws a big right hand that misses.
Gracie has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Gracie works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Spencer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.

Spencer is looking to get back to full guard here but Gracie has managed to pass to side control instead.
Spencer on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Spencer tries to get out of the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Spencer tries to lock up and control but Gracie gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
