Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eduardo Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robb Stark!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a nice outside leg kick.
Silva lands a slapping body shot.
Silva tries to clinch but Stark is having none of it.
Silva wants to clinch up but Stark keeps it at a distance.
Silva takes a jab right on the kisser.
Stark has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Stark thows a leg kick but Silva checks it
and Silva counters with a head kick that drops Stark to the mat! Stark scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Stark is rocked!
Silva is looking to clinch but Stark is avoiding it.
Stark is still on wobbly legs! Can Silva finish him?
Silva throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Silva looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Silva backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Stark's temple! It sends Stark violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Silva celebrates and the doctors try to help Stark!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Eduardo Silva!
