Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mike Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derick Steve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steve has chosen Happy Day as his entrance music. Derick Steve will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Derick Steve! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Steve Montenegro and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Steve misses with a head kick.
Steve connects with an inside leg kick. Steve scoring well with a low kick there.
Anderson tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Steve misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Steve cracks the inside of Anderson's front leg. Good work by Anderson as he checks the leg kick. Steve scores with a nice body kick.
Steve circles away from the clinch attempt.
Steve moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Steve connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Anderson blocks the body kick.
Steve with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Steve tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Anderson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Anderson showed some decent athleticism there. Steve wants to improve his position but Anderson is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Anderson tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Steve. Still in half guard, Anderson seems content to control. Steve is trying to get back to full guard. Anderson controlling the action here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Anderson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Steve misses with a jab, cross combination.
Anderson shoots in looking for a takedown but Steve manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Anderson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Steve gets caught napping as Anderson dives in and scores a takedown. Steve manages to retain guard. Anderson's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson lands a couple of elbows. Steve trying to keep a closed guard but Anderson is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Steve is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Anderson is controlling him. Steve avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Anderson misses with a series of wild punches.
Steve throws a leg kick which misses Anderson's front leg but catches the back leg as Anderson tries to avoid it. Anderson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Anderson controlling the action here. Steve wants to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Anderson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Anderson passes to side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Derick Steve dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Steve throws a push kick but Anderson slaps the foot to one side. Steve misses with a low kick. Steve throws a wild body kick that Anderson sees coming a mile off. Anderson tries to clinch but Steve is having none of it. Anderson throws a body punch but Steve moves out of range. Anderson gets a double leg takedown into Steve's guard. Anderson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Steve keeping full guard, as Anderson tries to pass. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anderson is working hard here to advance position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Steve, up you get! Steve dodges the punch combination from Anderson.
Anderson tries to clinch up. Derick Steve seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Anderson moves out of range of the body kick. Anderson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Steve can pounce on him.
Anderson moves out of range of the leg kick from Steve. Steve keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Anderson throws a hook to the side of Steve's head but Steve sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Steve connects with a solid leg kick. Steve pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Anderson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Steve sprawls well initially but Anderson persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Anderson is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Steve manages to get to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Anderson distracts Steve with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Steve preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Anderson wants to stand and escape but instead Steve has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action! Anderson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Steve gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Anderson looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson striking off his back but it's not causing Steve any problems. Anderson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Anderson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Steve controls the pace. Steve must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Anderson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Steve is one step ahead there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Anderson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Steve moves away from the strike by Anderson. Mike Anderson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Anderson fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Steve checks it well. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Steve walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Anderson checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Steve tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Anderson looks to land a combination but Steve avoids it well. Steve misses with a body kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Anderson dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Anderson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Steve. Anderson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Steve wants to get back to his feet but Anderson is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Anderson with a nice head shot there. Anderson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Steve swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anderson sitting in guard here, content to control. Anderson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Steve has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at GreatWall MMA. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Steve can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Anderson controls the pace.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Anderson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Anderson wants to pass the guard but Steve is defending well. Anderson is taking a breather. Steve says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Anderson wants to pass to mount but Steve is defending the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steve trying to control from the bottom.
Steve keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Anderson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Steve feints and then cracks Anderson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Anderson down. Anderson shoots in and gets a takedown into Steve's guard. Anderson controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anderson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Anderson gets to his feet. Steve looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Anderson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Steve swivels and escapes. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Steve looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Anderson moves out of range of the leg kick from Steve. Steve throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Anderson gets the takedown into side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Mike Anderson showed his dominance in that final round. I think Anderson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
