Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deal gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Wooten stalling the fight.
Wooten taking a breather.
Deal lands a knee to the body.
Wooten is looking to control Deal's arms but Deal gets an underhook and turns him. Now Wooten has his back to the cage.
Deal wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Deal lands a good knee to the midsection. Wooten won't want to take too many of those.
Wooten is breathing heavily.
Wooten takes a knee to the side of the body.
Deal working some nice short punches in the clinch.
It looks like Denny Wooten has been cut.
Deal wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Wooten has him pressed against the cage.
Deal just leaning against Wooten, taking a breather.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Deal breaks from the clinch.
Deal pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Wooten uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Deal.
A head kick by Deal - that's a beauty! Wooten is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Deal can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
