Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, William Gold and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid body kick from Sagat.
Doyle moves into the clinch.
Sagat is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Doyle is defending well for now.
Sagat throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Doyles head.
Sagat breaks the clinch.
Sagat tries to clinch but Doyle is having none of it.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Sagat tries a knee to the head but Doyle blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Doyle takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like Gerald Doyle has been cut.

Doyle has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sagat is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Sagat is struggling to control the position.

Sagat breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Black Sagat is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Doyle moves out of range of the body kick.
Sagat tries to clinch but Doyle moves out of range.
Sagat has managed to clinch.
Sagat lands a nice uppercut.
Sagat using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.

Sagat scores with a knee to the head.
Sagat dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Sagat is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Sagat's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Sagat throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Doyle is rocked!
Sagat manages to break the clinch.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Sagat lands a big knee to the head and Doyle goes down! Sagat pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Black Sagat!
A relieved looking Black Sagat thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
