The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pulliainen throws a right hand that Jeter ducks under and follows up with a left that Jeter also avoids with ease.

Jeter shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Pulliainen's guard.
Jeter keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Pulliainen's head.
Jeter controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Jeter prevents Pulliainen from getting back to his feet.
Jeter stands up over Pulliainen, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Pulliainen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jeter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jeter stops Pulliainen from standing up.
Pulliainen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Jeter won't allow Pulliainen to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
