Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Cue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Son Goku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goku is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by You Ain't Stopping Me. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cue throws a body punch but Goku moves out of range.
Goku pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cue throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
John Cue seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cue throws the left hand but Goku avoids the punch easily.
Cue uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Goku blocks a jab.
Cue misses with a hook.
Goku avoids the body shot from Cue.
Cue throws a big shot that misses.
Goku throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That's time! Cue's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Cue takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Goku lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Cue misses with a double jab
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Goku connects with an inside leg kick.
Cue is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Goku fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Cue has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Cue on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Cue crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Goku - the referee stops the clock and Cue gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Goku. Cue manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Thud! ouch! good body kick from Goku - that will leave a mark!

Son Goku showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Cue throws an overhand right that lands on Goku's shoulder, as Goku tries to avoid the shot.

Cue ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Goku moves away.
Cue takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Goku throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Cue stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Goku follows into mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Cue is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Goku tries to get the hooks in deep but Cue pushed the leg off.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Goku feints and then cracks Cue's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Cue down.

Oh Cue is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Goku throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Son Goku is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Cue swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Goku is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Cue rather than just go for the knockout.

Son Goku comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Goku has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
