Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hong Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joshua Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Li comes into the arena with The Mars Volta - blaring out of the sound system. Perez has chosen It's Goin Down by T.C. as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Joshua Perez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joshua Perez!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li thows a left - swing and a miss!
Li scores with a kick to the body.
Perez lands with a right hand.
Li throws a right and a left that Perez avoids nicely.
Perez lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Li checks a leg kick.
Perez has Li up against the cage in a clinch.
Perez gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Perez tries to work over Li's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Li is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Perez is defending well for now.

Perez gets control of Li's arms and successfully pulls guard. Perez will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Li decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Perez, up you get!

Li drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Perez shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Perez finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Li takes the fight into the clinch.
Li works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Perez looking for a guillotine here but Li defends easily.
Perez is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Perez has his foot on Li's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Li works his way back into a safe position though.

Perez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Li can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Li really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Perez looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Li has picked Perez up and slammed him! Perez can't keep hold of the triangle and Li manages to pass to side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Perez is looking for a sweep.
Perez sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Perez is trying to maintain the position but Li is very close to passing his half guard.

Perez is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Li is tapping! Great win for Perez!
