The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vespucci avoids the body shot from Babe.
Babe moves out of range of the body kick from Vespucci.

Babe rushes Vespucci and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Babe lands a right hand that snaps the head of Vespucci backwards.
Babe lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Babe digs a right hand underneath Vespucci's ribcage. Vespucci let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Babe prevents Vespucci from breaking the clinch.
A right hook to the body lands for Babe.
Vespucci takes a shot to the head.
Babe cracks Vespucci with a nice body shot.
Vespucci looks winded!
Babe lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
A short uppercut from Babe.
Babe lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A left hand lands to the body for Babe.
Babe lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Vespucci or not.
Babe lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Babe works on Vespucci's body with a couple of short punches.
Vespucci jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Babe walks away with a smile on his face. Vespucci gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Babe has closed the distance and engaged Vespucci in a clinch.

Babe is working Vespucci over against the cage.
Babe lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Babe lands an uppercut.

Vespucci is rocked!
Babe pushes Vespucci back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Vespucci is still on wobbly legs! Can Babe finish him?

Babe manages to break the clinch.
Vespucci seems to have recovered his senses.
Babe dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Babe looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Babe throws a leg kick which misses Vespucci's front leg but catches the back leg as Vespucci tries to avoid it.

Babe fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Vespucci, pushing him back against the cage.
Babe dips a shoulder and cracks Vespucci with a mighty uppercut! Vespucci falls back against the cage and Babe unloads with a barrage of strikes! Vespucci is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Babe screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
