Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Soul Reaper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Mondo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reaper comes to the cage accompanied by ayatolla. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mondo wants to clinch up but Reaper keeps it at a distance.
Reaper throws a head kick that misses.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Reaper keeps the fight on the outside.
Reaper shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mondo as he jumps to the side.
Mondo closes the distance and clinches.
Reaper has Mondo pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Mondo manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Reaper is pushing Mondo up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Mondo doesn't manage to clinch there - Reaper circles away.

Reaper gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Mondo regains guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Reaper is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
