Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Michaud Korrs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devon Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Michaud Korrs could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Devon Walker's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michaud Korrs! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Devon Walker! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Korrs throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Korrs tries a head kick but it misses.
Korrs throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. A head kick misses from Korrs. Korrs goes for a double leg but Walker avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Walker continues to drive forward. Korrs escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Michaud Korrs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Korrs throws a head kick that misses. Korrs throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Korrs wants to slow Walker down by chopping away at his legs. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Korrs throws a hook but Walker blocks it. Korrs swings away with a leg kick that misses. Korrs doesn't succeed with the takedown and Walker counters with a single leg into guard. Korrs didn't expect that.

Korrs working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Walker. Walker trying to control but Korrs is working from the bottom. Walker is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Walker controlling from the top position. Let's hope that Walker has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Korrs misses with a two punch combination.
Korrs finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Korrs rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Walker moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Korrs misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Korrs tries to clinch but Walker moves out of range. Korrs really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Korrs tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Korrs throws a sloppy head kick and Walker moves out of range easily. Walker avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Korrs shoots in for a takedown but Walker shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michaud Korrs. That's going to take a lot out of him. Korrs tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Korrs swings for the body but Walker moves out of range.

Korrs tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Walker counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Korrs keeping moving, preventing Walker from controlling successfully. Walker is stalling in the full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. It looks like Walker might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Michaud Korrs will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Korrs knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Walker on the ground. Walker seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walker is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Korrs! Korrs has left one of his arms exposed and Walker doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Korrs screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
