Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jonathan Roy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fun Times!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roy looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Times avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Roy moves into the clinch.
Roy is trying to pull guard but Times has him pressed against the cage.
Times blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Roy looking to throw knees to the head but Times is blocking nicely.
Roy misses with some punches.
Roy comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Roy tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Times is trying to pull guard but Roy turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Times is trying to drag Roy to the mat but Roy just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Come on Roy - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Times takes an elbow to the forehead.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Roy ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Roy no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Roy wants to stand up but Times is controlling him.
Roy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Times on the ground.
Times is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Times advances position into side control!

Times is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Roy is trying to escape and Times transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Roy is forced to tap! Nice work there by Times! Very nice indeed!
