15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Rafael Dos Santos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Murray Jackson! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Glass and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dos Santos is looking to score with low kicks. Dos Santos tries to clinch up. Dos Santos has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Dos Santos tried to score with a low kick but Jackson checks it. Dos Santos gets tackled into the cage by Jackson. Jackson maintains the clinch. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dos Santos looks to score with a jab to the body but Jackson is just out of range. Jackson checks a low kick from Dos Santos. Jackson has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Dos Santos is landing a low percentage of strikes. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dos Santos shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Jackson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Dos Santos. Jackson has escaped and now he's on top! Jackson looking to pass the guard. Jackson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dos Santos's guard. Rafael Dos Santos overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dos Santos is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jackson pulls his head out easily. Jackson content to control rather than advance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dos Santos is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jackson leaning his opponent against the cage.
