Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dirk Diggler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ferdinando Ferrari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diggler's entrance music is YO GOTTI - SOMEBODY WATCHIN ME. A fine choice. Ferdinando Ferrari has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
32 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dirk Diggler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ferdinando Ferrari! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ferrari shoots for a double leg takedown but Diggler sprawls well. He's pushed Ferrari's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Diggler scores with a punch to the head. Diggler has been working on his boxing with his coaches at KAMOT-E 4.5* sparring gym in the buildup to the fight. Ferrari misses with an uppercut. Diggler saw that one coming. Ferdinando Ferrari seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ferrari stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Diggler. Diggler throws a leg kick and Ferrari counters with a shoot takedown. Diggler fights it but they end up in guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Diggler looking to control.

Ferrari in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ferrari wants to control from the top but Diggler keeps moving. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Diggler controlling the position. Diggler looking to control.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Ferrari jabbing away but nothing is landing. Ferrari paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Diggler connects with a crisp jab. Diggler takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Ferrari looking to score a takedown here. Diggler is defending well but Ferrari drives through and ends up in Diggler's guard. Diggler seems keen to control Ferrari's posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ferrari cracks Diggler with a solid left hand. Ferrari stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Diggler swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ferrari has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Diggler is trying to keep Ferrari in close.
Diggler pulls Ferrari in close to his closed guard and prevents Ferrari from doing any damage or advancing position. Ferrari is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ferrari tries to clinch up and Diggler counters with a lovely straight right hand! Ferrari swings widly with a right hand
and Diggler counters with a low kick, right behind Ferrari 's knee. Dirk Diggler is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Diggler scores with a punch to the head. Diggler stuffs the takedown. Diggler throws a nice head kick!
Ferrari doesn't manage to clinch there - Diggler circles away.
Ferrari tried to score with a low kick but Diggler checks it. Diggler leaves Ferrari with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Dirk Diggler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ferdinando Ferrari. Ferrari fails in his attempt to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ferrari fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ferrari shoots in for a takedown but Diggler shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Diggler fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Ferrari checks it well. Diggler walks into a jab. Ferrari tries to clinch but Diggler moves out of range. Diggler moves forwards but Ferrari connects with a nice, crisp jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Diggler throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Ferrari shoots in for a takedown but Diggler shows good takedown defense. Ferrari swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Diggler cracks Ferrari with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Diggler connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Ferrari is rocked! Diggler throws a pinpoint strike between Ferrari's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Ferrari crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Diggler scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dirk Diggler! Dirk Diggler decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
