Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gohan San (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boxing Champ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boxing Champ looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gohan San!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Boxing Champ!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Champ's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Champ duly obliges.
San misses with a double jab
and Champ counters with a left and a right that stings San.
Champ has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as San is landing a low percentage of strikes.
San tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
No luck for San with that takedown attempt.
Champ is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
San throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Champ's head.


It looks like Boxing Champ has been cut.
Sloppy strikes from Champ. Those never looked like landing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

San throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Champ's waist but Champ gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing San off to one side.

San breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

San shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Champ napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Champ stops San from passing to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
San prevents Champ from escaping the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
San has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Champ!

Boxing Champ comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Champ winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
