The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suti misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Brandao.
Brandao just misses with a punch to the body.
Brandao throws a body shot but no joy.
Suti takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Suti.
Brandao throws a shot from downtown. Suti moves away and avoids it.

Brandao doesn't manage to clinch there - Suti circles away.

Brandao wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Suti, who protects the arm well.
Suti tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Suti is not content to let Brandao control the position.
Brandao swings around for an armbar but Suti sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Brandao's guard.

Brandao is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Suti lands a nice hook to Brandao's body. Brandao takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Brandao tries to hold on but Suti pushes him away.
Suti connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Suti prevents Brandao from getting the reversal.
We've been hearing good reports from Suti's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Brandao wants to hold on but Suti pushes him away.
Suti lands a big shot there that rocks Brandao but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Suti is stalling here but it's allowed Brandao to get half guard.

Suti lands a big elbow - Brandao is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Suti!

Perseen Suti decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
