Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Sebastian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sid Reaper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sid Reaper has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jacob Sebastian's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacob Sebastian!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sid Reaper!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reaper misses with a takedown
and Sebastian counters with a stiff right hand.

Reaper shoots in and gets a takedown into Sebastian's guard.

Sebastian looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Reaper is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Sebastian looking to control.

Reaper drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Reaper jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Sebastian is trying to control the position but Reaper postures up.
Reaper must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Reaper tries to free his leg and advance position but Sebastian is retaining full guard.

Sebastian is trying to keep Reaper in close.
Reaper pushes down on Sebastian's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Reaper has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Sebastian regains half guard.
Sebastian wants to control but Reaper is keeping busy.

Sebastian is trying to maintain the position but Reaper is very close to passing his half guard.

Reaper is trying to work for a kimura but Sebastian is defending well.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sebastian is pressing down on Reaper's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Sebastian has his foot on Reaper's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Reaper works his way back into a safe position though.
Sebastian wants to sweep here but Reaper controlling him for the moment.

Reaper has gone for a leg lock! Sebastian slips out almost immediately though and dives into Reaper's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sebastian trying to control but Reaper is working from the bottom.

Sebastian has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Sebastian is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Reaper has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Sebastian is looking to defend but Reaper has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Sebastian! Reaper pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Sebastian taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Sid Reaper!
A very excited looking Sid Reaper rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
The defeated Jacob Sebastian had this to say: 'The path to success lies ahead of me. Aramaitie!'.
