Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Buakaw Hron!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
18 - 40 - 0, fighting out of New York, Franco Colombo!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Colombo throws a sloppy head kick and Hron moves out of range easily.
Colombo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hron stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hron is breathing heavily.
Colombo moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Hron goes down! Can Colombo finish him!?
Hron is rocked!
It looks like Buakaw Hron has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Colombo passes Hron's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Oh Hron is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Colombo works his way into side control.
Colombo is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Hron looks calm but he's in trouble here. Colombo gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Hron is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Colombo lets go of the hold and Hron can pop his arm back in it's socket.
