The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dewayne tries for a takedown but Erasmus sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Dewayne shoots in but Erasmus avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Erasmus looks to score with a jab to the body but Dewayne is just out of range.
Nice cross by Erasmus.
Dewayne moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Nice takedown defense from Erasmus. No joy for Dewayne on that attempt.
Rasputin Erasmus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcus Dewayne.

Erasmus has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Erasmus throws out a loose jab but Dewayne uses good head movement to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Erasmus comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Erasmus fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Dewayne checks it well.
Erasmus sends Dewayne crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Erasmus is motioning to the referee to let Dewayne up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Marcus Dewayne has been cut.

Erasmus plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Dewayne swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Dewayne face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
