Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dylan Summers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Run Forcover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Summers's entrance music is Meatloaf: In The Land Of The Pigs. A fine choice. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 11 - 3, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dylan Summers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Run Forcover!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Summers misses with a left hand
and Forcover counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A low kick from Forcover misses
and Summers counters with a three punch combo that has Forcover backing up. Forcover nods at Summers to acknowledge the strikes.
Forcover lands with a slapping head kick.
Forcover throws a body punch but Summers moves out of range.

Summers shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Forcover napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Forcover is trying to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Summers working away.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Forcover sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Summers lands with a punch from half guard.
Summers thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Forcover's head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Forcover tries to roll over but Summers keeps him under control.
Summers throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Forcover is pressing down on Summers's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Forcover keeping moving, preventing Summers from controlling successfully.

Forcover looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Forcover is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Forcover manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Summers manages to get himself to full guard.

Summers trying to keep a closed guard but Forcover is proving a slippery customer.

Summers looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Summers is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Forcover is aware though and is defending well.
Forcover tries to free his leg and advance position but Summers is retaining full guard.
Summers keeping moving, preventing Forcover from controlling successfully.
Forcover pushing down on Summers's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Forcover controlling the pace.
Summers is not content to let Forcover control the position.
Summers wants to get back to full guard.

Forcover looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Forcover seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Summers wants to control but Forcover is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Summers is trying to get back to full guard.
Forcover wants to pass the guard but Summers is defending well.
Forcover passes to full mount!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Summers really wants to buck Forcover off and get back to his feet.
Forcover wants to take Summers's back here but Summers is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Summers regains half guard.
Forcover content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Summers is not content to let Forcover control the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Forcover wants to pass the guard but Summers is defending well.
Forcover works his way into full mount!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Run Forcover will probably get the nod.

Summers lands with a cross.

Summers shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Forcover manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Forcover not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Summers is in close to Forcover's body, working some short punches and elbows.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Summers distracts Forcover with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Summers throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Forcover is trying to keep Summers in close.
Forcover looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Forcover utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Summers postures up.
Summers wants to control from the top but Forcover keeps moving.
Forcover is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Summers pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Forcover is keeping the position for now.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Summers misses with a double jab.
Forcover misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Forcover throws a low kick, looking for Summers's leg but Summers calmly moves out of range.
Forcover misses with a straight left.
Summers keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Forcover lands a nice hook to Summers's body. Summers takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Forcover throws a leg kick but Summers checks it.
Forcover defending well as Summers loads up on a big left hand.
A slapping leg kick lands for Forcover.
Forcover lands a nice shot that snaps Summers's head back.
Run Forcover is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Forcover bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Summers drops Forcover with a nice combination! Summers dives into Forcover's guard, looking to finish!


Forcover is rocked!
Summers engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Forcover is still in real trouble! Can Summers finish him?
Summers gets to his feet and stands over Forcover, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Forcover felt that one! Summers unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Forcover from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dylan Summers!
Dylan Summers seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
