Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andy Lobas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Garkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andy Lobas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 14 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergei Garkov! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garkov shoots in for a takedown but Lobas shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Garkov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Lobas works Garkov's body with a nice hook. Garkov keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Garkov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lobas defends it nicely. Lobas misses the jab. Garkov avoids the body shot from Lobas.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lobas tries to get out of the position.

Garkov tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Lobas. Garkov winds up and cracks Lobas with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Andy Lobas is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Garkov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Garkov is looking to take a break and control but Lobas is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lobas tries to get to full guard but Garkov has control of the leg. Sergei Garkov has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Garkov seems to be working for a kimura but Lobas defends the submission attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! Andy Lobas showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lobas, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
