Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Dawes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nick Kang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bryan Dawes! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A decent looking cross lands there for Dawes. Kang throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dawes's waist but Dawes gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kang off to one side. Kang lands with a thumping leg kick.
Dawes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kang moves away. Kang takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Dawes thows a left - swing and a miss! Dawes is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kang. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Kang takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Kang fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Dawes to the ground. Kang is now in Dawes's guard. Kang with a flurry of punches that miss. Dawes not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Kang throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Kang has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dawes is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kang definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Kang cracks Dawes with a solid left hand. Kang throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dawes works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Dawes looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Kang postures up in Dawes's guard and throws a big left but Dawes blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kang postures up and lands a big shot to Dawes's brow. Dawes can't keep his opponent in guard - Kang advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Dawes looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Dawes tries to roll over but Kang keeps him under control. Kang seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kang working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Nice strikes from Kang there. Dawes is looking to improve his position.
Kang blocks the strikes from Dawes.
Kang throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Kang winds up and cracks Dawes with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Dawes is not content to let Kang control the position. Dawes is looking for a sweep. Kang is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kang missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Kang scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Kang lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kang scoring with strikes to the body and head. Ground and pound from Kang. Dawes is looking to improve his position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kang lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Dawes! More strikes land and this one is all over! Kang jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nick Kang!
