Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Francisco dAnconia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevor Buck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Trevor Buck!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Roberts and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
dAnconia takes a swing at Buck's ribcage but misses.
dAnconia connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Buck momentarily.
Buck throws a leg kick that is checked
and dAnconia counters with a lovely straight right hand!

The fight stays on the outside here - Buck looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Trevor Buck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Buck misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

That was a close round but I would say that Francisco dAnconia will probably get the nod.
