Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Elias Robles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kieran Summers!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Chris Dean and Darius Henderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Summers scores with a head kick. Robles tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.


It looks like Elias Robles has been cut.
Summers misses with a double jab
and Robles counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Summers fails in his attempt to clinch.

Summers tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Robles tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Summers defends well and Robles ends up having to push Summers into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Summers has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.

Summers looks to land a combination. Robles sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Summers shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Robles as he avoids it easily.
Summers tries to close the distance and clinch but Robles swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Robles shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Summers pinned against the cage. Summers gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Robles counters with a nice uppercut.
Summers uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Robles.
Summers misses with a kick to the body.
Robles swats away the attempt to clinch by Summers.
Summers tries to close the distance and clinch but Robles swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Summers swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Robles counter with a right hand.
Robles lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Robles closes the distance and clinches up with Summers, looking for a takedown. Robles pushes Summers against the cage but Summers circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Robles tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Summers swivels and escapes.

Robles tries to clinch up but Summers circles away and keeps his distance.

Robles throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Summers throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Robles's head.
Summers avoids the body shot from Robles.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Summers rushes Robles and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Summers throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Robles blocks it with crossed arms.
Summers tries to pull guard but Robles forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Robles tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Summers smiles and moves away.
Robles cracks Summers with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Robles is trying hard to land a takedown here. Summers sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Robles goes for a double leg but Summers avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Summers continues to drive forward.

Robles has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Summers after a bit of a struggle.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Elias Robles is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Summers feints a jab promting Robles to slip. Summers then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Robles slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
