Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Short Stuff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Matlock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stuff's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, High aggro damage/kicks. The crowd seem to be enjoying Matlock's choice of entrance music: And Justice for All. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ben Matlock!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stuff lunges at Matlock with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Matlock's hand.
Stuff misses with an uppercut. Matlock saw that one coming.
Matlock takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Stuff scoring well with a low kick there.
Stuff misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Matlock.
Matlock takes one to the chin there.
Stuff throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Stuff looks for the body kick but Matlock saw that one coming.
Matlock throws a combination that misses
and Stuff counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Matlock thinking.
Stuff tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Stuff throws a sloppy head kick and Matlock moves out of range easily.
Stuff lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Matlock takes one on the button.
Matlock misses with a straight right.
Stuff lands with an uppercut that bounces Matlock off the cage and back into range.
Matlock is rocked!
Matlock missing with a left hand there. Stuff was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Matlock is still on wobbly legs! Can Stuff finish him?
Stuff has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Stuff lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Matlock head around and knocks him out cold! Stuff hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Short Stuff!
Short Stuff very nearly forgot to thank Fury Nutrition Inc. amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
