Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Omar Enz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Addison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Omar Enz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Addison! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Addison delivers a nice body kick. Enz looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Enz avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Enz misses with a hook. Addison ducked under it nicely. Enz takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Enz misses with a right hand and Addison counters by moving into the clinch. Addison softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes. Enz wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Addison tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Addison tries to land a body kick and Addison takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Enz throws a low kick but Addison avoids it. Addison lets loose with a powerful body kick. Enz will feel that in the morning. Addison misses with a head kick.
Nice defenses there by Enz. Addison has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Addison bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Addison connects with a solid leg kick. Addison checks the leg kick. Addison scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Enz doesn't seem bothered though. Addison drives through and clinches with Enz against the ropes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Addison creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Enz is trying to break the clinch but Addison has him pressed against the ropes. Addison lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
