Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mordred Deschain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ted Coke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coke is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Cocaine. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mordred Deschain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ted Coke! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Mauricio Rocha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice uppercut lands for Coke. That snapped Deschain's head back.
Coke moves out of range as Deschain throws a body kick.
Deschain slips under a jab. Deschain with a nice cross. Deschain displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Coke throws out the jab. Deschain swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Coke. Deschain rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Coke counters with a body kick. Deschain connects with a high kick. Coke lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Deschain circles away quickly and effectively. Mordred Deschain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Coke will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Deschain throws a looping overhand right but Coke ducks down to avoid it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Deschain throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Coke misses with the combination.
Deschain tries to sprawl but Coke drives through with a takedown into half guard. Coke gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Deschain wants to clinch. Mordred Deschain is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coke circles away from the clinch attempt and Coke counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Coke missing with a left hand there. Deschain was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Coke dips to his left and cracks Deschain with an uppercut! Deschain throws a head kick that misses enabling Coke to counter with a crisp jab. Deschain takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Crunch! Coke slams his shin into Deschain's torso. Coke throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Deschain. Deschain lunges at Coke with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Coke's hand. Deschain scores with a decent looking hook. Deschain throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Deschain pushes Coke up against the cage in a clinch. Coke is trying to break free. Deschain throws an elbow but it's blocked.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coke wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Deschain has him pressed against the cage. Nice elbow from Coke. Coke tries to break the clinch but Deschain is controlling the position. Deschain looks to throw an elbow but misses. Coke throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Coke on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Coke pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Coke shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. A punch combination from Coke misses. Deschain walks into a straight right hand from Coke. Deschain connects with a good right hand that stumbles Coke. Coke circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Deschain lands a lovely overhand right. Coke looks to throw a body kick and Deschain counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Deschain keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Coke. Coke's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Deschain connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Coke scrambles back to his feet. Sloppy strikes from Coke. Those never looked like landing. Coke throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coke looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Coke looks to land a body kick but Deschain moved away. Nice body kick from Deschain. Deschain lands with a nice body kick. Deschain tries to clinch but Coke is having none of it. Deschain is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Deschain. Coke tries to land a front kick but Deschain steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Coke moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Deschain moves into the clinch successfully.
Coke breaks the clinch.
Coke has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Deschain finds it's way round the side to connect with Coke's head. Coke keeps the fight on the outside. A combination from Coke does no damage. Deschain with a jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Coke uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Deschain has time to react. Deschain throws a series of strikes that have Coke backpedaling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A momentary lapse in concentration from Deschain enables Coke to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Deschain manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Deschain wants to hit a switch here but Coke passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Deschain there! A nice elbow there by Coke. Deschain knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Coke on the ground. Poor strikes thrown by Coke there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Coke throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Deschain because Coke loaded up on that one. Coke trying to control but he's not successful this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. The referee warns Deschain that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Coke lands a nice shot to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ted Coke dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Deschain stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Deschain lands with an uppercut that bounces Coke off the cage and back into range. Deschain bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Both fighters circling a little - Deschain finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Deschain dodges the punch combination from Coke.
Coke misses with an uppercut
and Coke takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Deschain lands a nice looking kick to the body. Coke takes a step back to recover. The crowd cheers as Deschain lands an impressive looking overhand right. Coke doesn't seem phased though. Deschain displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Coke throws out the jab. Deschain tries a head kick but it misses.

Mordred Deschain is winning the standup battle so far. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A telegraphed right hand from Coke misses the target. Nice shot by Deschain. Deschain just misses with a punch to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Deschain dips to his left and cracks Coke with an uppercut! Deschain throws a head kick that misses. Deschain tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Coke paws at him with a jab and circles away. Coke swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Deschain moves out of range of the strikes. Deschain scores with a jab to the jaw. Coke takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Deschain misses with a double jab.
Coke throws a lazy right hand but Deschain sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Deschain lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Deschain connects with a right hand. Coke shakes it off. Coke avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ted Coke is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Coke takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Deschain lands with a hook. Coke tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Coke takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Coke is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Deschain Rushes Coke and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Coke is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Deschain Piles on the pressure and Coke crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mordred Deschain! After the big win, Mordred Deschain made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Museum of Monsters & Madmen and telling the interviewer how much he loves him. Ted Coke spoke after the fight, saying 'He was the better fighter today, but trust me, I am going to come back .. come back better prepared and in better condition !!!'.
