And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olivero checks a low kick from Lapardin.
Olivero blocks a jab.
Olivero pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Olivero misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lapardin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Olivero sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Olivero lands a big head kick that sends Lapardin tumbling to the mat! Olivero takes a step backwards and waves Lapardin back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Tihon Lapardin has been cut.
Lapardin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Olivero swats him away and circles back towards the center.

A head kick by Olivero - that's a beauty! Lapardin is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Olivero can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
