Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caesar Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tony Martin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Caesar Baker! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksandr Martynov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baker goes for a double leg but Martin avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Martin continues to drive forward. Baker with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Baker manages to break the clinch.
Baker throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Martin takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Martin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Martin lands in his opponent's guard. Baker keeping moving, preventing Martin from controlling successfully. Baker wants to stand up but Martin is controlling him. Martin drops back looking for a leg! Baker is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Baker manages to kick Martin off! Martin jumps back into Baker's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Martin won't allow Baker to get back to his feet.

Martin jumps back into Baker's guard. Martin prevents Baker from getting back to his feet. Martin is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Baker is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Martin is controlling him. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Martin has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Martin shoots in looking for a takedown. Baker tries to sprawl out of it but Martin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Baker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Baker clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Martin can't get the takedown.
Baker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Martin gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
It looks like Tony Martin has been cut. Baker bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Martin takes one to the side of the head.
Martin gets tackled into the cage by Baker. Baker maintains the clinch. Martin takes a shot to the head. Baker manages to break the clinch.
Martin fails to land with a series of punches.
Baker stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Nice defenses there by Baker. Baker lands a lovely overhand right. Baker connects with a body shot. Baker walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Martin drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Baker swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Martin's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Caesar Baker!
