These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evletineukas throws a sloppy head kick and Zizaro moves out of range easily.
Zizaro stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Evletineukas.
Zizaro throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Evletineukas's head.
Varis Evletineukas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Evletineukas misses with a head kick.
Evletineukas walks forward, straight into a front kick from Zizaro.
Evletineukas misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Evletineukas throws a lazy body kick
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Evletineukas connects with a high kick.

It looks like Carl Zizaro has been cut.
An inside leg kick lands from Evletineukas.
Zizaro takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Evletineukas throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Evletineukas! Zizaro is out on his feet! Evletineukas rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Zizaro is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Zizaro is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
