Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nahas is looking to score with low kicks.
Nahas misses with a head kick.
Decent striking displayed by Laranja there.
Nahas throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Nahas throws a sloppy body shot
and Laranja counters with a nice double leg into side control. Nahas won't be happy with that.
Laranja in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Laranja is trying to get an arm triangle but Nahas is defending well.

Nahas tries to lock up and control but Laranja gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Laranja has hold of Nahas's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Nahas manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Laranja has control of Nahas's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Nahas regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Laranja is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Nahas to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Nahas shrugs it off.
Laranja jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Nahas is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Nahas and Laranja has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Laranja is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Nahas is trying to escape and Laranja transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Nahas is forced to tap! Nice work there by Laranja! Very nice indeed!
