The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson staying out of range there.
A combination from smith does no damage.
smith tries to bum rush Jackson with a series of wild strikes but Jackson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
smith throws a shot from downtown. Jackson moves away and avoids it.
smith lands with an overhand left.
It looks like Rampagee Jackson has been cut.
smith throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jackson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
smith misses the jab.
Jackson slips under a jab from smith.
smith throws a hook to the side of Jackson's head but Jackson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
smith waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Jackson.
smith throws a right hand that Jackson ducks under and follows up with a left that Jackson also avoids with ease.
Jackson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
smith missing with a left hand there. Jackson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jackson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jackson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from smith.
smith scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Jackson is rocked!
smith waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Jackson.
Oh Jackson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jackson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from smith.
Jackson lands a high kick!
Jackson seems to have got his legs back now.
smith looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Jackson moves out of range as smith strikes.
The fighters circling - smith throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Jackson throws a nice inside leg kick.
Jackson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. smith looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jackson decides to stand back up. Jackson steps back and let's smith get back to his feet.
A choreographed right hand from smith misses the target.
smith throws a jab when Jackson was well out of range.
A nice leg kick lands there from Jackson.
Jackson plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
smith loads up on a big right hand but Jackson slips the punch.
smith might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
smith misses the jab.
stan smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
smith jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A jab from smith misses.
stan smith is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jackson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from smith.
smith lands a brutal uppercut that launches Jackson off his feet! Jackson tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
