Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eddy Maiden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maiden's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Walk. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 11 - 1, fighting out of New York, Eddy Maiden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Dean Stevens!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maiden gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Maiden is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stevens.
Stevens connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Maiden lands the left hand.
Stevens throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Stevens gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Maiden.
Maiden throws a solid leg kick but Stevens takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Maiden.
Good exchange - Maiden coming out on top.
Maiden closes the distance and clinches up with Stevens, looking for a takedown. Maiden pushes Stevens against the cage but Stevens circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Stevens shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Maiden's guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Eddy Maiden will probably get the nod.
