Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Daniel Kerrow!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kerrow doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Estrada counters by clinching up.
Estrada can't break the clinch.
Kerrow keeps control of Estrada as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
A frustrated look appears on Estrada's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Kerrow prevents Estrada from breaking the clinch.
Estrada has had enough of the clinch but Kerrow keeps him there for the moment.
Estrada can't break the clinch.
Kerrow has Estrada pressed against the cage, preventing Estrada from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Estrada tries to circle away but Kerrow has him pinned against the cage.
Estrada wants to break the clinch but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Estrada is trying to break the clinch but Kerrow is controlling him.
Estrada is looking to break free of the clinch but Kerrow has double underhooks.

Kerrow drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kerrow blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Estrada tries to break free but Kerrow pushes him back against the cage.

Estrada looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
A frustrated look appears on Estrada's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Estrada throws a punch but it's blocked by Kerrow.
Estrada wants to get back to striking at distance but Kerrow won't allow it.
Estrada wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kerrow has him pressed against the cage.

Kerrow works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Kerrow makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Estrada working for a triangle but Kerrow defends it easily.

Kerrow landing some decent shots from guard.
Estrada preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Kerrow lands a couple of elbows.


Estrada is rocked!
Kerrow has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Kerrow scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Oh Estrada is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Estrada had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kerrow defends it easily.
Kerrow arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Estrada's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Daniel Kerrow!
