The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Woodroffe as Bamboo shoots in.
Bamboo with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Woodroffe to score with a decent uppercut.
Bamboo fails with a takedown attempt.
Matt Woodroffe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Woodroffe closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bamboo did well to prevent Woodroffe getting side control.

Woodroffe cracks Bamboo with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Bamboo looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Woodroffe finish him?
