Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manuel Solomon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Iceman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Manuel Solomon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Charles Iceman! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Solomon shoots in and drives through. Iceman sprawls well. Solomon moves out of range as Iceman strikes. Iceman misses with a right hand and Solomon counters with a flying knee. Nice. Iceman cracks Solomon with a good jab. Iceman slaps away a takedown attempt from Solomon, before circling back to the center of the mat. Nice body punch from Iceman. Solomon shoots in looking for a takedown but Iceman manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Solomon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Manuel Solomon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Iceman throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Iceman scores with a nice strike. Iceman lands with an uppercut that bounces Solomon off the cage and back into range. Iceman misses with a two punch combination.
Solomon has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Solomon there as he acknowledges the shot. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Solomon shoots in looking for a takedown but Iceman manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Solomon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Iceman scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Solomon avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horrible takedown attempt by Solomon or perhaps it was just good defense by Iceman, which made it look bad. Solomon gets the takedown into side control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Solomon is breathing heavily. Iceman is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Solomon asserts his dominance and retains side control. Iceman tries to improve position but can't. Solomon decides to stand back up. Iceman misses with a right hand and Solomon finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Solomon fails to land the takedown. Iceman bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Solomon's head backwards.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice shot lands for Iceman. Iceman might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Solomon misses with a takedown attempt - Iceman sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Iceman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
This has been an exciting period of action! Iceman misses the jab. A jab lands there for Iceman. Iceman scores with the left hand. Solomon knows he should have avoided that one. Solomon could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Solomon takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Iceman throws a hook but Solomon blocks it. Solomon dives in and scores a takedown into Iceman's guard. Iceman lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Iceman wants to stand but Solomon is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Iceman decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Solomon, up you get! Solomon gets cracked there but stands up to it.
A good leg kick by Iceman. Iceman connects with a good right hand that stumbles Solomon. Solomon circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Iceman connects with a solid leg kick. Iceman throws a right and a left that Solomon avoids nicely. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Iceman!
Solomon is rocked! Iceman steps in with a hook that catches Solomon right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Iceman follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Solomon looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Charles Iceman!
