Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Ring (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Pablo Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Green is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Metallica - Unforgiven. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeremy Ring! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Juan Pablo Green! The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Eliza Hachem and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ring moves out of range as Green strikes. Green is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ring. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Green has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Green wants to slow Ring down by chopping away at his legs. Ring tries a head kick but it misses.
Ring has Green up against the cage in a clinch.
Green pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Ring pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Green scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Green misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ring checks a low kick from Green. A head kick from Green lands but Ring takes it in his stride. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Green scores with a sloppy right hand. Ring should have avoided that one. Green swats away the attempt to clinch by Ring. Ring tries a head kick but it misses.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ring tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Green paws at him with a jab and circles away. Ring clinches with his opponent.
Ring escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Green misses with a hook. Ring ducked under it nicely. Ring looks for the body kick but Green saw that one coming. Green wants to land a leg kick but Ring is out of range. Ring throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Green misses with a wild body shot. Green lands a nice hook to Ring's body. Ring takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Green throws a body shot but no joy. Ring clinches. Ring presses Green against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Green escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ring pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Green blocks a head kick by Ring.
Green moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Green missing with a left hand there. Ring was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Ring throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ring keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Green attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Green throws a series of punches but Ring avoids them all with ease. Green ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Ring tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Green manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Ring takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Green scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Ring showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Green.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Green throws a nice looking combination but Ring bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Green scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Green is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ring. Green moves out of range of the body kick from Ring.
Ring misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Green swings away with a leg kick that misses. Ring gets in close and instigates a clinch. Ring breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Green throws a body shot but no joy. Donk. Green catches Ring right on the button with a cross. Green swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Ring moves out of range of the leg kick from Green. Green is looking to chop away at Ring's legs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Green misses with a low kick.
A head kick misses from Ring. Ring tries to close the distance and clinch up but Green swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ring tries to clinch up. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ring throws a head kick but Green moves out of range.
Ring instigates a clinch. Ring throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Ring prevents Green from breaking the clinch. Green avoiding damage as Ring throws knees to the body.
A head punch on the inside from Green fails to land. Ring comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. With the fighters up against the cage, Ring throws an elbow but misses. Ring missing with knees to the body.
Green wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ring has him pressed against the cage. Green wants to break free but Ring has control.
Ring creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Juan Pablo Green dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Ring keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Green. Ring moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Green bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Green throws a leg kick but Ring checks it. Ring takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Ring misses with a head kick.
Green looks to land a left hand but Ring moved out of range nicely. Ring tries to clinch up. A head kick by Ring misses and Green cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Green looks to throw the jab but Ring is out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Green.
Green takes a swing at Ring's ribcage but misses. Juan Pablo Green seems to be getting the better of the standup. Ring throws a head kick that misses. Ring darts in trying to clinch and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Green lands a nice shot that snaps Ring's head back.
Green jabbing away but nothing is landing. Ring closes the distance and clinches. Green breaks the clinch.
Ring avoids a kick to the body.
Ring pushes Green up against the cage in a clinch. Green manages to break the clinch.
Green lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Ring blocks a jab. Green cracks the inside of Ring's front leg. Green thumps Ring with a low kick. Green swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ring moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Green throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ring misses with a body kick. Ring throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Ring fails in his attempt to clinch. Ring rushes Green and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Green pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Ring scores with a body shot.
Ring slips a straight right by Green. Ring is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Green is looking to chop away at Ring's legs. Ring tries to clinch but Green moves out of range. Green throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Ring looks like he's thinking about clinching though. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Green in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. A good leg kick by Green. Green stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ring. Green misses with a body shot.
Green lands a front kick. Green throws a hook but Ring blocks it. Ring moves into range and clinches up with Green. Green tries a body shot but Ring blocks it.
Ring lands an uppercut. Green is trying to break the clinch but Ring has him pressed against the cage. Green is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Green misses with a punch on the inside.
Our sources have told us that Ring has been working on his elbows in the gym. A nice glancing elbow lands by Ring.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ring scores with a shot to the side of Green's head. Green lands an uppercut. Green has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Ring using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Green has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Juan Pablo Green showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

It looks like Juan Pablo Green has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A short right from Green. Ring landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Juan Pablo Green is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Ring tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Green paws at him with a jab and circles away. Ring throws a sloppy head kick and Green connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Ring throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Ring is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Ring tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Ring tries to clinch but Green moves out of range. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The fight stays on the outside here - Ring looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Ring tries to close the distance and clinch up but Green swats him away and circles back towards the center. Green waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ring.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jeremy Ring. I think Green has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
