Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Danger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rigoberto Lamas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lamas has chosen Brazilian National Anthem as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Carlos Danger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rigoberto Lamas!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, David Schapiro and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamas throws an overhand right that lands on Danger's shoulder, as Danger tries to avoid the shot.
Danger misses with a wild body shot.
Lamas throws a right hand that misses
letting Danger counter with a right hand.
Danger connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lamas. Lamas circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Lamas misses with a hook. Danger ducked under it nicely.
A big right from Lamas misses.
Danger lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Lamas getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Danger scores with a shot to the body.
Lamas ducks right into an uppercut from Danger.

Danger is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Danger creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Danger has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Lamas is fighting to break Danger's control of his arms but Danger is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Carlos Danger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rigoberto Lamas.
Lamas swings for the body but Danger moves out of range.
Danger catches Lamas with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Lamas seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Danger does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Danger, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
