Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian OTool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giovanni Bertuccio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bertuccio has chosen He Ain't Heavy He's My Brother as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brian OTool! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Giovanni Bertuccio! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Jonathan Paton and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A left and a right from OTool both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Giovanni Bertuccio has been cut. OTool will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Brian OTool seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. OTool misses with a combination
and Bertuccio counters by clinching up. A quick uppercut on the inside from Bertuccio. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Bertuccio creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. A head punch on the inside from Bertuccio fails to land. A nice left hand lands by OTool.
Bertuccio blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Bertuccio working OTool over with knees to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! OTool tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. OTool tries to work over Bertuccio's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Bertuccio lands on the inside with an uppercut. Bertuccio lands a hook to the side of the head. Bertuccio swings wildly with an uppercut but OTool uses good head movement to avoid it. OTool tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Bertuccio lands a right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bertuccio holding his opponent close, against the cage.
OTool throws a head punch that misses. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for OTool. A head punch blocked on the inside by Bertuccio. Bertuccio makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
It looks like Brian OTool has been cut. Bertuccio misses with a knee to the head. Bertuccio lands a hook to the side of the head. Bertuccio lands with a light punch inside.
OTool is rocked! I was talking to OTool's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Bertuccio pushes OTool against the cage. Bertuccio is working some dirty boxing. Bertuccio pushes off with a quick right hook! OTool goes down! OTool tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Bertuccio moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Giovanni Bertuccio! After winning the bout, Giovanni Bertuccio thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
