Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wang fails to land the takedown.
Adams misses with a head kick.
Wang moves into the clinch.
Adams really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Wang is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Adams is defending well for now.

and Adams counters with a good, hard body kick but Wang shrugs it off.

Chen Wang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wang darts in looking for a takedown but Adams gets double underhooks and turns Wang into the cage.

Adams is trying to drag Wang to the mat but Wang just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Adams pushes off an throws an elbow but Wang leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

The referee asks Adams politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Adams prefers to stall for the moment though.
