Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
peery looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? ahr is fending him off so far but peery persists. Nope, ahr circles away and we're back to standing.
peery misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
peery has a takedown stuffed.
bryce ahr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of joesph peery.
ahr scores a takedown into full mount!
peery really wants to buck ahr off and get back to his feet.
ahr controlling from mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee warns peery that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

peery is trying to stand up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
ahr wants to finish this one by submission but peery is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from ahr.
ahr unloading with bombs!
peery's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
ahr pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
peery looks gassed!
ahr looking to control and managing it successfully.
ahr trying to control but he's not successful this time.

peery is trying to escape the mount but ahr keeps good control and instead manages to take peery's back.
ahr really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for peery.
ahr softening up his opponent with strikes here.
ahr lands a shot to the head.

peery is trying to stand. He's onto all fours with ahr on his back. ahr looks like he's slipping off but he's actually tansitioning to a beautiful armbar! peery has to tap out to a very impressive submission!
