Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ganja Nug (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Corona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nug looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Corona is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Corona is looking for a triangle but Nug pushes his legs off easily.
Nug wants to pass the guard but Corona is keeping the position. Nug knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Corona on the ground. Corona is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Nug stands and throws Corona's legs to the side, diving into side control. Nug tries for a kimura but Corona is defending well. Nug is trying to ground and pound but Corona uses the momentary lack of control by Nug to regain half guard. Corona is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Nug scores with a couple of nice shots.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nug prevents Corona from improving his position. Corona is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. It looks like Nug is going to stand back up.
Corona punching from the bottom.
Corona avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Nug. Corona looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Corona won't allow Nug to pass to mount.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nug bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Corona's head backwards. Nug tries to clinch up but Corona circles away and keeps his distance. Corona gets a takedown into half guard. Corona looks gassed! Corona is looking to advance position but Nug won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nug is staying active underneath Corona, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Nug tries to roll over but Corona keeps him under control. Corona passes the guard and advances to mount! Corona fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Corona takes Nug's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Nug is in trouble. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Corona avoiding Nug 's attempts to control his hands. Nug tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Nug manages to regain half guard. Good work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Corona working Nug over with strikes. Corona is working for a submission of some sort.
Nug is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Corona's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Corona's back! Corona holding both Nug 's hands and preventing any damage. Corona turns into Nug and is now in his guard.
Corona tries to free his leg and advance position but Nug is retaining full guard. Corona pushing down on Nug's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Nug is not content to let Corona control the position. Corona is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Corona passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Nug!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Corona working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Nug turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Corona off and cradles Nug's limp body as Corona celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Jose Corona!
