The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Lewis lands an impressive looking overhand right. White doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Dana White has been cut.
Lewis connects with the punch.

and Lewis counters with a lovely straight right hand!
White shoots in but no luck this time.
White shoots in looking for a takedown but Lewis manages to keep the fight standing, pushing White's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dana White. That's going to take a lot out of him.
White misses with a takedown attempt - Lewis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
White is breathing heavily.
White takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Dana White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
