The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Anthony Taglia and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kampan lands a head kick!
Kampan misses with a head kick.
Kampan lands a nice shot that snaps Alves's head back.
Kampan throws a head kick that misses.
Kampan throws a one two combo.
A head kick from Kampan lands but Alves takes it in his stride.
Good standup being displayed there by Kampan as he connects with a hook.

You get the feeling that Alves really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Kampan avoids the attempt from Alves to control.
Alves tries to reverse the position but Kampan maintains control.
Kampan wants to stand but Alves is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.

Alves keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Kampan is thwarting Alves's attempts to control the position.
Kampan tries to stand but can't do so whilst Alves controls his leg.

Kampan has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Alves celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
